Home Pages

I (Mike) have set it up so any member of the family can use my web server for their personal homepage. Why would you want to do this? For one, your website can be part of the prestigious and highly coveted www.neir.org. I have plenty of space, and it's free. The only drawback is that my server is currently on my family's cable modem, which isn't all that fast. It's fast enough to serve simple web pages, but larger things like movies or large pictures would take a long time and choke off our bandwidth. Hopefully I'll be able to get my server a much better connection sometime in the future. Anyways, if you're a member of the Neir clan, get a hold of me, and we'll set things up if you're interested.

Email

I've also set it up so anyone can have an email account using neir.org. It would probably just be set up to forward mail to your existing mail account, i.e. mail that is sent to you@neir.org automatically goes to you@yourisp.com, just like it was sent to you@yourisp.com. This means that you'll always get email sent to you@neir.org through whatever email address I have your messages going to. Again, let me know and we'll set things up.
